The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 169 calls for service, issued nine citations and made 12 arrests from May 3-5, 2013.

The SPD received 189, 911 calls.

• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon — 900 block of Lamar.
• Burglary — 1600 block of Throckmorton.
• Family violence assault — Sweetwater.

Arrested by SPD:
• Felicity Gonzales, 27 — Warrant.
• Charles Partain, 51 — Public intoxication.
• Debra Little, 46 — Disorderly conduct/public intoxication.
• Doris Robinson, 45 — Family violence assault/possession of prohibited substance in a correction facility.
• Jimmie Slice, 20 — Possession of marijuana/failure to ID.
• Male juvenile, 13 — Family violence assault.
• Michael Ray Smith, 32 — Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
• Ricky Rodriguez, 23 — Warrants.
• Jacob Villalpando, 19 — Evading arrest.
• Corey Shadowen, 22 — Warrants.
• Donald Beckwith, 39 — Reckless driving.
• Lynne Looby, 55 — Disorderly conduct by profane language.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 34 calls for service, two civil papers served and made five arrests from May 3-5, 2013.

• Refugio Vera III, 23, of Sweetwater — Driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age and Eastland County warrant/theft by check.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to 16 ambulance calls and three fire calls over the past 48 hours.
