The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 62 calls for service, issued five citations and made four arrests on May 8, 2013.

The SPD received 34, 911 calls.

Accidents:

• 1500 block of Lamar.
• 900 block of Lamar.

Calls for service:
• Theft — 900 block of Brookside.
• Terroristic threat — 700 block of E. Third.
• Minor in possession — 300 block of Lamar.
• Burglary of a vehicle — 1600 block of Josephine.

Arrested by SPD:
• Sonya Flores, 26 — Driving while license invalid.
• Michael Smith, 32 — Warrants.
• Joseph Guerrero, 28 — Warrants.
• Charles Tames, 32 — Warrants.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 11 calls for service, no civil papers served and made one arrest on May 8, 2013.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Robert Scott Willis, 22, of Lake Jackson — Warrant/failure to appear.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to 19 ambulance calls and one fire call over the past 24 hours.
• 16 ambulance calls in the city of Sweetwater.
