The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 29 calls for service, issued one citation and made two arrests on Nov. 8, 2011.

The SPD received 17, 911 calls.

Accidents:
• 1800 block of Lamar.

Arrested by SPD:
• Leopaldo Vera, 28 — Warrants.
• Braxton Walker, 20 — Driving while license invalid.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had nine calls for service, served no civil papers and made one arrest on Nov. 8, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Julio Juanito Cuellar, 35, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.

Calls for service:
• Information only — Highway 70 South.
• 911 hang up — Bois D'Arc.
• Reckless driver — I-20 east bound near Blackland Road.
• Stray livestock — CR 196/CR 261.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 MM 251 east bound.
• Animal control — Cypress, Roscoe.
• Suspicious vehicle — CR 126/CR 109.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 237 east bound.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 230 east bound.
