The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 42 calls for service, issued three citations and made one arrest on Nov. 8, 2012.
The SPD received 18, 911 calls.
Accidents:
• 300 block of Mulberry.
Calls for service:
• Assault — 1200 block of Hickory.
• Unattended death — 100 block of CR 220.
Arrested by SPD:
• Sheldon Eveland, 37 — Warrants.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 10 calls for service, served three civil papers and made five arrests on Nov. 8, 2012.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Nicholas James Thompson, 33, of Arlington — Warrant/possession of controlled substance.
• Tyler Scott Polk, 22, of Sweetwater — Brown County warrant/possession of controlled substance/dangerous drug.
Arrested by DPS:
• Lashekka Gallegos, 24, of Snyder — Howard County warrants/possession of controlled substance (bath salts) and failure to appear/bond jumping.
• Billy Gene Christensen, 25, of Graham — No drivers license (when unlicensed).
• Jimmy Tanner McGlothlin, 20, of Roscoe — Driving while intoxicated.
Calls for service:
• Stranded motorist — Highway 153.
• Funeral escort — Scurry County line.
• MHMR transport — San Angelo (Rivercrest).
• MHMR transport — San Angelo (Shannon).
• Criminal trespass — Old Highway 70.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 243 west bound.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 253 west bound.
