The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 43 calls for service, issued no citations and made two arrests on Nov. 30, 2011.

The SPD received 18, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• CPS referral — Sweetwater.
• Burglary of a vehicle — 1500 block of Silas.

Arrested by SPD:
• Male juvenile, 16 — Aggravated sexual assault of a child.
• Romeshia Holder, 22 — Warrant.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had seven calls for service, served one civil paper and made three arrests on Nov. 30, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Macario Rangel Rivera, 34, of Andrews — Warrants x2/motion to revoke probation.
• John Michael Brown, 24, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.
• Mark Anthony Betancourt, 30, of Sweetwater — Judgment.

Calls for service:
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 233 west bound.
• Abandoned vehicle — I-20 MM 247.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 239 west bound.
• Stray livestock — FM 1089/Highway 70.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 262.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 247 west bound.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 259 west bound.

Total in Custody: 49 (Taylor County: 8)

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to five ambulance calls and four fire calls on Nov. 30.
• Three fire calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• Two ambulance calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• One fire call in the County.
• Three ambulance transfers to Abilene.
