The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 60 calls for service, issued two citations and made three arrests on Oct. 19, 2011.

The SPD received 30, 911 calls.

Arrested by SPD:
• Robert Adkins, 45 — Warrant.
• Brock Walker, 26 — Warrant/evading arrest.
• Dequion Carrington, 17 — Warrant.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had eight calls for service, served four civil papers and made five arrests on Oct. 19, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Sylvester Ramon, 30, of Snyder — Warrant/kidnapping and Scurry County warrant/assault causes bodily injury.
• Helen Ruth Hedleston, 49, of Arlington — Indictment/theft.
• Aubrey Phillip Childers, 24, of Sweetwater — Indictment/sexual assault.
• Eric Bernard Brown, 23, of Sweetwater — Indictment/assault family violence.

Arrested by DPS:
• Shawna Lee Johnson, 28, of Fort Worth — Possession of marijuana and Johnson County warrant/theft by check.

Calls for service:
• Animal control — Nueces Street, Blackwell.
• Inmate transport/MHMR — Abilene.
• Vehicle fire — Blackland Road, Roscoe.
• Grass fire — Lakewood.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 247 west bound.
• Stray livestock — CR 147.
• Grass fire — Santa Fe Lake.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 West Interchange.
