The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 47 calls for service, issued two citations and made two arrests on Oct. 23, 2012.
The SPD received 23, 911 calls.
Calls for service:
• Forgery — Sweetwater.
• Evading arrest with a motor vehicle — Sweetwater area.
Arrested by SPD:
• Fabian Peña, 30 — Warrants.
• Malcolm Black, 18 — Warrant.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had four calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests from Oct. 23, 2012.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Bobby Blake Rogers, 36, of Abilene — Motion to revoke probation/driving while license invalid.
• Ricky Dwayne Wilson, 52, of Sweetwater — Driving while intoxicated, third or more offense.
Calls for service:
• Traffic accident — South Highway 70.
• Welfare concern — CR 117.
• Traffic accident — I-20 and Blackland Road.
• 911 hang up — Inkman Springs Road.
