The SPD received 17, 911 calls.

• 1700 block of Sam Houston.

Calls for service:
• Information only — 400 block of Fisher.

Arrested by SPD:
• Male juvenile, 16 — Possession of marijuana.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had seven calls for service, served two civil papers and made three arrests on Oct. 24, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Leo Garcia Peña, 32, of Jacksborough — Shackleford County warrants/bond forfeiture x2.
• Fabian Peña, 29, of Jacksborough — Judgment.
• Ruben Ruiz, Jr, 49, of Sweetwater — Warrant/parole violation.

Calls for service:
• Court Bailiff — 32nd judicial district court.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 258 west bound.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 230 east bound.
• Inmate transport/medical — E. Arizona.
• Criminal trespass — FM 608.
• Fire — Walnut Street.
• Stray livestock — I-20 MM 250 west bound.
