The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 45 calls for service, issued three citations and made no arrests on Oct. 24, 2012.

The SPD received 33, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Theft — 100 block of S. Hopkins.
• Forgery — Sweetwater area.
• Criminal mischief — Coral Cove.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had seven calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on Oct. 24, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Paige Morgan Kenas, 33, of Fort Worth — Theft by check.
• Mario Treviño, 40, of San Juan — Hidalgo County warrant.

Calls for service:
• MHMR transport — Big Spring.
• Traffic hazard — I-20/Highway 84.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 258.
• Medical transport — Henderson.
• Stray livestock — I-20 MM 246-247.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 256.
• Welfare concern — Highway 70.
