The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 141 calls for service, issued 17 citations and made five arrests from Oct. 28-30, 2011.

The SPD received 53, 911 calls.

Calls for service:

• Theft — 10 block of Industrial Drive.
• Family violence assault — 900 block of Circle Drive.
• Burglary of a vehicle — 900 block of Locust.
• Criminal mischief — 1600 block of Grand.
• Robbery — 100 block of SW Georgia.

Arrested by SPD:
• Raymond Doak, 52 — Warrant.
• Male Juvenile, 14 —Assault.
• Jack Vaughn, 22 — Burglary of a vehicle.
• Male Juvenile, 16 — Burglary of a vehicle.
• Rodney Nuñez, 29 — Warrants.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 15 calls for service, served five civil papers and made six arrests from Oct. 28-30, 2011.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Dequion Quiman Carrington, 17, of Sweetwater — Warrant/family violence assault causes bodily injury to a house member, two or more incidents within 12 months.
• William Alan Don Ross, 43, of Waxahachie — Driving while intoxicated, second offense.
• S.D. Wooten, 49, of Sweetwater — Warrant/theft by check.

• Court Bailiff — Nolan County Court at Law.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 260 west bound.
• Fight in progress — Loop 544.
• Theft — CR 137.
• Stray livestock — Highway 153.
• Suspicious incident — Lake Trammell.
• Reckless driver — I-20 near Highway 84 split east bound.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 west bound east of FM 1856.
• Cruelty to animals — Main Street, Roscoe.
• Fish and game violation — FM 608.
• Damaged property — E. Main, Blackwell.
• Welfare concern — FM 608.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 241 east bound.
• Suspicious incident — FM 608.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to four ambulance calls and two fire calls on Oct. 28 and Oct. 30, 2011.
• Two fire calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• Three ambulance calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• One ambulance call in the county.
