The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 39 calls for service, issued two citations and made three arrests on Oct. 29, 2012.

The SPD received 17, 911 calls.

Calls for service:

• Theft — 9500 block of S. I-20.
• Theft — 400 block of NE Georgia.
• Counterfeiting — 1400 block of Hailey.
• Family violence assault — 900 block of Silas.
• Counterfeiting — 1000 block of Lamar.
Arrested by SPD:
• Sandra Tumpek, 49 — Warrant.
• Lisa Nichols, 49 — Family violence assault.
• Marcos Caballero, 38 — Driving while license invalid with previous.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 10 calls for service, served no civil papers and made no arrests on Oct. 29, 2012.

• Inmate transport/medical — E. Arizona.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 247 west bound.
• Stray livestock — CR 143.
• Alarm — Loop 170.
• Welfare concern — South Highway 70.
• Inmate transport/medical — E. 12th St.
• Assist US Marshall/ attempt to locate — CR 181.
• Inmate transport/dental — E. 15th Street.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 229 east bound.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 256 west bound.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to three ambulance calls and no fire calls on Oct. 29.
