The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 52 calls for service, issued no citations and made three arrests on Oct. 3, 2011.

The SPD received 17, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a vehicle x6 — 1700 block of Hailey.
• Burglary of a vehicle — 1500 block of E. 12th.
• Burglary of a vehicle x2 — 1400 block of James.
• Burglary of a vehicle x4 — 1600 block of Grand.
• Arson — 1000 block of Jennie Street.

Arrested by SPD
• Eric Brown, 23 — Warrant.
• Elida Sims, 30 — Warrant.
• Chainey Cagle, 27 — Warrant.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 12 calls for service, served four civil papers and made two arrests on Oct. 3, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Patricia Ann Pedregon, 44, of Sweetwater — Warrants/surety withdrawal and failure to appear.
• Ricardo Cruz Lozano, Jr., 44, of Colorado City — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.

• Close patrol — Highway 70 South.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 230 east bound.
• Illegal dumping — CR 220.
• Stray livestock — Highway 70 South/Nine Mile Hill.

• Prisoner transport — Middleton/Abilene.
• Close patrol — CR 256.
• Cruelty to animals — CR 209.
• Prisoner transport — Mitchell County.
• Inmate transport/medical — E. Arizona.
• Reckless driver — I-20 west bound Taylor Co. line.
