The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 27 calls for service, issued no citations and made two arrests on Oct. 8, 2012.

The SPD received 14, 911 calls.

Accidents:
• 2200 block of Lamar.

Arrested by SPD:
• Female juvenile, 16 — Warrant/theft.
• Adolfo Gutierrez, 47 — Driving while license invalid.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had seven calls for service, served one civil paper and made four arrests on Oct. 8, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Steven Garcia Diaz, 38, of Lubbock — Warrant/duty on striking fixture/highway landscape.
• Jesse Fernandez, 42, of Sweetwater — Warrant/theft by check.
• Samuel Cory Gage, 23, of Odessa — Warrants/fail to appear x2, fail to maintain financial responsibility, traffic offenses.
• Albino Gutierrez, Sr., 45, of Laredo — Warrant/expired annual inspection.
Calls for service:
• Stranded motorist — Hopkins Road/north service road.
• Criminal mischief — South Highway 70.
• Court Bailiff x3 — 32nd Judicial District Court.
• Prisoner transport — Runnels County.
• Prisoner transport x2 — Runnels County.
• Suspicious vehicle — Park Circle Drive.
• Inmate transport/medical — E. Arizona.
