The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 43 calls for service, issued no citations and made five arrests on Sept. 13, 2012.

The SPD received 34, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Criminal mischief — 900 block of E. 17th.
• Burglary of a vehicle — 1000 block of Oak.
• Assault — 500 block of E. 14th.

Arrested by SPD:
• Male juvenile, 12 — Assault.
• Samantha Rodriguez, 17 — Possession of marijuana in drug free zone.
• Breanna Havner, 19 — Warrants.
• Jared Strube, 27 — Public intoxication.
• Michael Espinoza, 20 — Public intoxication.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 11 calls for service, served no civil papers and made no arrests on Sept. 13, 2012.

• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 245 east bound.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 257 west bound rest area.
