The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 38 calls for service, issued four citations and made no arrests on Sept. 27, 2012.

The SPD received 20, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a vehicle — 1700 block of Hailey.
• Criminal mischief — 1400 block of Hughes.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 10 calls for service, served no civil papers and made three arrests on Sept. 27, 2012.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Venancio Cerda Torres, Jr., 50, of Snyder — Warrants/surety withdrawal, driving while intoxicated, third or more offense and violation of parole.
• Ricardo Rodriguez Gonzalez, 64, of Colorado City — Judgment.

Arrested by DPS:
• Michael David Lange, 57, of Amarillo — Driving while intoxicated, third or more offense.

Calls for service:
• Stray livestock — I-20 MM 277.
• Medical emergency — Main/South Highway 70, Blackwell.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 east bound before rest area.
• Close patrol — Lake Sweetwater.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 253 west bound.
• Welfare concern — Cedar Street, Roscoe.
• Alarm — N I-20.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 west bound/Highway 84.
• Vehicle accident — Highway 84.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 west bound, Roscoe.
