The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 53 calls for service, issued one citation and made two arrests on Sept. 14, 2011.
The SPD received 13, 911 calls.
Accidents:
• 200 block of E. Alabama.
Calls for service:
• Class A assault — 300 block of Lamar.
Arrested by SPD
• Tina Limon, 42 — Theft.
• Amber Welch, 23 — Theft/warrant.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had seven calls for service, served no civil papers and made no arrests on Sept. 14, 2011.
Calls for service:
• MHMR transport — Wichita Falls.
• Suspicious vehicle — CR 181.
• Suspicious incident — NE Georgia.
• Information only — E. Third Street.
• Reckless driver — Highway 70 South.
• Suspicious vehicle — I-20.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 256 west bound.
Total in Custody: 42
The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to six ambulance calls and one fire call on Sept. 14, 2011.
• Five ambulance calls and one fire call in the city of Sweetwater.
• One ambulance transfer to Abilene.
