The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 52 calls for service, issued two citations and made one arrest on Sept. 20, 2011.

The SPD received 14, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Theft — 100 block of S. Hopkins.
• Unauthorized use of a vehicle — 800 block of NW Georgia.
• Criminal mischief — 1600 block of Sam Houston.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had eight calls for service, served two civil papers and made two arrests on Sept. 20, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Cynthia Marie Baeza, 22, of Sweetwater — Warrant/capias pro fine.

Arrested by DPS:
• Jacey Lynn Sellers, 19, of Roscoe — Taylor County warrants/forgery, burglary of vehicle and theft.
Calls for service:
• Civil problem — Elm Street, Roscoe.
• Reckless driver — Highway 84.
• Assist Randall County/assault — E. Third Street.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 MM 237 west bound.
• Illegal dumping — W. Highway 80.
• Medical emergency — FM 608.
• MHMR transport — Abilene.
• Grass fire — CR 117.

Total in Custody: 41
