Boys all-district golfers

Sweetwater’s Alex Castil-lo, left, and Ryan Mercer won all-district honors at the District 5-3A golf tournament. Castillo shot 229 to place fourth among all district medalists and Mercer shot 237 to place ninth. Castillo advanced to the Region I-3A golf tournament that will be held Monday and Tuesday at San Angelo’s Bentwood Country Club.
