The C-SPAN Bus hits the road for winter tour
Sweetwater and Abilene residents had the opportunity to learn about C-SPAN’s programs and resources on Wednesday, Jan. 29, by stepping aboard the C-SPAN Bus during a stop on its winter tour. The Bus, now in its 21st year on the road, was at Sweetwater Middle School, Kiwanis Club of Abilene and other locations helping to inform communities about the public affairs network’s ongoing First Ladies feature series. It is visiting cities, schools and universities across the country, promoting C-SPAN’s educational and political resources for students, teachers and community members along the way. This winter, the Bus tour will coincide with the finale of the series First Ladies: Influence & Image, which airs every Monday night at 9 p.m. ET on C-SPAN.
