Career Day planned for Thursday at SHS

April 29, 2014

Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas will host Sweetwater Career Day for several area high schools on Thursday from 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. This will be an opportunity for area organizations and businesses to share information with hundreds of students about what their profession has to offer.
This event will give businesses the opportunity to visit face-to-face with students from Nolan, Fisher and Taylor County schools and a chance to highlight the various industries and careers available in the area. This event will help students identify or verify a career path. Chip Townsend will also be the keynote speaker at the event.
For more information about the event, contact Garolyn Jergins at 325-795-4327 or careerday@workforcesystem.org.
