Carvin Coy Lemmons - Williams, 43, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in Sweetwater on Sept. 1, 1967.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Hester Johnson, grandfather Wylie Johnson, sister Carolyn Williams, seven uncles and six aunties. He is survived by his mother, Vera Green of Sweetwater, his father, Horace Lee Williams of Stanton, Texas, two sons; DeShawn Williams of Sweetwater and Cartavious Groage of Big Spring, one daughter, Kateria Lemmons of Oklahoma City, OK, three brothers; Marvin Green and wife Brenda of Sweetwater, Michael Green of Sweetwater and Billy Johnson of Sweetwater, one sister, Brenda Green and husband Stevie Joe Jenkins of Huntsville, Texas and five grandchildren.
Carvin was a member of Mount Rose Baptist Church. He was a lifelong resident of Sweetwater. He had worked for Wendy’s as a cook and worked for the Wind Farm industry, as a programmer. He also had worked at Ludlum’s Measurements for three years.
There will be a wake service and family visitation Friday evening at 7 p.m. at McCoy Chapel of Memories. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 at 2 p.m., at McCoy Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Tommie Jackson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tony Adkins, Darby Williams, Tommie Williams, Maurice Marshall, Thomas Gooden. Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Walker, Patrick Goodman, Brock Walker, Kentay Bender, Wayne Johnson, Early Johnson and Quincy Garrett.
Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
