A graveside service for Cecil Ray Bills, 83, of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. James Baker officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Bills died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.
He was born April 1, 1927, in Coahoma, Texas. He married Mary Margaret Looby on Oct. 3, 1967, in Big Spring. He worked for J.W. McCutchens Oil Field Company for 35 years. He lived in Sweetwater most of his life.
Survivors include his son, Bobby Bills and wife Norma of San Antonio; daughter, Lynn Fritsch and husband Dennis of Plano; three grandchildren, Brenna Bills of Plano, John Fritsch of Plano and Steven Fritsch of Plano; one great-grandchild, Ronald; two nieces, Karen Clemmons of Richardson and Sharon Powers of Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Aug. 3, 1994; son, Ray Lee Bills on July 1, 1996; brother, Wilson Bills; sister, Ruth Bills Dooley; and his parents, Rufus and Linnie Bills.
