College students wreck on icy I-20

Two college students involved in a major accident near Sweetwater on Interstate 20, according to KTXS.

Two college students are lucky to be alive after icy roads caused a major accident near Sweetwater on Interstate 20, according to KTXS.
The students were heading to Lubbock when the driver hit a patch of ice causing her to lose control.
Her mustang hit the concrete median, ricocheted off and slid under an 18-wheeler.
Sweetwater emergency service personnel responded to the wreck. The passenger had to be pulled out of the vehicle through the window.
I-20 was a popular stretch of freeway for accidents during the weekend's icy weather. Police had to narrow that area down to one lane, in certain areas.
