Work continues at First Financial Bank in Sweetwater on the construction of a new motor bank and remodeling of the interior of the bank's main office.
The newly-added motor bank will be located on the corner of Broadway and Elm Street, on the north side of the existing bank building. The additions will consist of six drive-up lanes, a commercial lane and night depository.
A new ATM machine, similar to the one located on Hailey, will also be on-site at the motor bank. Kirby Andrews, President and CEO of First Financial Bank, stated that the upgrade of the ATM "will improve and simplify transactions for customers."
The remodel of the interior of the bank will also be an extensive project as new carpet, granite floors and teller counters will be installed.
The expectations from the completed construction work is two-fold: to offer customers a more appealing environment as well as to improve customer service.
"This remodeling project reinforces our strong commitment to our customers in Sweetwater," stated Mr. Andrews. "While we want to provide the most comfortable experience possible, this upgrade goes beyond mere cosmetics."
However, while the construction continues, customers will still be able to do business as the bank and the current drive in facility will remain open. The entire remodeling projected is slated for completion by the first quarter of 2012.
