Jerry Watts celebrated 10 years with the county as Assistant Jail Administrator and was presented with a pin by Nolan County Judge Tim Fambrough.

Four county employees were recognized during Monday morning's county commissioners meeting held at the Nolan County Courthouse.
In attendance to receive their awards were Jerry Watts, who celebrated 10 years with the county as Assistant Jail Administrator, along with county auditor Judy Kasper for her 15 years of service.
Library Circulation Clerk Eloisa Hernandez and Coliseum worker Pablo Sosa were also honored, as they celebrated 5 and 10 years, respectively, serving the county in their positions.
Also during the meeting, approval was given to leave off the burn ban in Nolan County for the next two weeks, as all four precincts noted that their lands were doing well.
Furthermore, the appointment of Ashley May to the Sweetwater-Nolan County Child Welfare Board was approved, as she will be filling the spot vacated by the late Charles Roberson.
The holiday schedule for the 2014 fiscal year was approved, as well as the minutes from the July 22 and 29 meetings. Reports were also received from the Nolan County Clerk, as well as the sheriff and welfare offices.
