Graveside services for Crystal Darlene Foust, 90, of Abilene, formerly of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Okla. with interment to follow.
Family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, from 6-7:30 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home located at 401 E. Third Street in Sweetwater, Texas 79556.
Foust died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at "The Retreat" in Abilene, Texas, a special care home.
She was born Dec. 20, 1921, in Sapulpa, Okla. She married David L. Foust on April 8, 1940 in Sapulpa, Okla. She had lived in Abilene the past month at a personal care home named "The Retreat". She lived at the Hoyt House for four years under the care of their wonderful staff, and in Houston for 40 years before that. That family would like to thank Brittany Grace at "The Retreat", the nurses at Hospice of the Big Country for their much needed help, and would like to express a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Hoyt House. Most of her life, Foust was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Foust of Tulsa, Okla. and Stanley Foust of Sweetwater; grandson, Steven Foust and wife Jennifer of Sweetwater; six great-grandchildren, Joshua, Michael, Crystal, Emma, Adam and Annah Foust; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Foust, on June 24, 1993; her parents; a brother; and some nephews.
