Cynthia Marie Cotton, 64, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at her residence in Sweetwater after an eight month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born Feb. 29, 1948 in Topeka, KS.
Cindie is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Dave Cotton; and her two sons, Adam Cotton and wife Kaci of Parker, Colo. and Ben Cotton and wife Lindsey of Abilene; two sisters, Marcie Beth Lightsey and husband Tony of Broken Arrow, Okla. and Kim Bruening and husband Ron of Topeka, Kan.; and two granddaughters, Lillian and Keely Cotton; and two grandsons, Jackson and Lincoln Cotton.
There will be a visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Fourth and Elm Church of Christ in Sweetwater on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. with Doug Crum and Gary Souder officiating. There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at Henry Cemetery near Gallatin, Texas, under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
The family requests, in-lieu-of-flowers, memorials be made to Hendrick Hospice, 1682 Hickory, Abilene, TX 79601.
Cindie leaves a Christian Legacy as a loving wife, mother and friend. She was a blessing to many and will be missed by all.
