Members of Trinity Baptist Church welcoming Damon Chrismer home from military service

Members of Trinity Baptist Church in Sweetwater welcomed home one of their own last Thursday afternoon, Jan. 5, 2011.
Damon Chrismer had arrived at the Abilene Regional Airport after serving in Iraq and Kuwait for 206 days. His wife and two children met him at the airport and brought him home to Sweetwater to drive by the church where friends and fellow church members were waiting with balloons and signs the church youth had made to celebrate his arrival.
Chrismer is stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene and makes his home with his wife and two children in Sweetwater. Damon is a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church, where he and his wife, Rebekah are part of the praise band.
After Chrismer was greeted, Pastor Ward Hayes led the group in a quick thanksgiving prayer for his return.
