Danny was born in Sweetwater on Aug. 6, 1961. He worked as a roughneck from 1980-1984, then continued on as a teamster at a South Texas Nuclear Project from 1984-1991. While providing for his growing family, Danny continued as a Process Operator at the Dow Chemical Company from 1991-2014. He respected his friends and co-workers. Their friendship was valued. Danny was a devoted family man and loving father to his children. Danny loved the simple farm life and all it has to offer. A lot of work but, big rewards. Danny enjoyed live country music and dancing. That is where he met his wife, Karen. Many special times were made, but we didn't get to do all we had planned.
Danny will be laid to rest with graveside services at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2014 at Sweetwater Cemetery in Sweetwater with Rev. Matt McGowen officiating under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time.
