DECA students go to state competition

DECA students from Sweetwater High School
Sweetwater High School DECA students recently competed in district competition and took first place and moved on to the state competition. Adrian Lopez and Gabriel Medellin competed in a team event of sports marketing. Genea Cherry and Joselyn Gonzalez competed in retail. Sarah Romero competed in apparel and accessories. Tish Torrez competed in quick serve restaurant management. The group is shown with DECA sponsor Nina Wilson and SHS principal Stacy Jones.
