Funeral services for Don L. Graham, 55, of Roscoe, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, at First United Methodist Church in Sweetwater with Rev. Brian Brownlow officiating. Interment will follow at Loraine Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Full honors will be held by the Texas Department of Public Safety Honor Guard at the graveside.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Graham died Saturday, Dec. 22, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
He was born Dec. 23, 1956, in Sweetwater. He married Sandra Kay Hale on A. 15, 1981, in Panhandle, Texas. Don was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sweetwater. Don was a graduate of Loraine High School in 1975, and attended Texas Tech University for three years. In 1980, Don graduated from DPS School and moved to Dalhart where he was stationed until December 1991. In December 1991 he was promoted to Sergeant and served that position in Refurio, TX until September 1993. He then was transferred to Sweetwater where he served as Sergeant until his retirement in December 2006.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Graham of Roscoe; son, Cody Graham of West Texas A&M Canyon, TX; parents, Doris and Donald Graham of Loraine, TX; one brother, Douglas Graham and wife Anita of Colorado City, TX; nieces, Tina Sims and husband Brandon of Borger, TX, Lisa Shepard and husband Tyler of Houston, TX and Erin Graham of Denton, TX; nephews, Ryan Graham of Colorado City, TX and Shawn Graham of Kingswood, TX; father-in-law, Shirley Hale of Pampa, TX; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susie and Dan Dwight of Pampa, TX; uncle, Bobby Graham and wife Wanza of Loraine, TX; aunts, Shirley Graham of Loraine, TX, Evelyn Landra of San Antonio, TX and Laveda Brooks of Burleson, TX; four great-nephews; one great-niece; and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Wes Williams, Vernon Baker, Dan Dwight, Gary Williams, Gary Ward and Allan McIntire.
