Each year approximately 200 FFA and 4-H youth participate in the Nolan County Junior Livestock Show. These exhibitors invest countless hours in their projects - steers, hogs, lambs, goats, chickens and rabbits - with homes of earning the Grand Champion prize during the 2014 show.
The livestock show is currently taking place, Jan. 14-18, 2014. The winning exhibitors will be eligible to sell their projects in the Premium Sale, held on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014.
These livestock projects are a resource to teach students important life lessons such as responsibility, leadership, communication, hard work and dedication. It is the generous donations from those in the community and local businesses that make the Nolan County Premium Sale possible.
