Graveside services for Dorothy Anola Galloway, 92, of Kingwood, Texas formerly of Sweetwater, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Sweetwater Cemetery. Rev. Brian Brownlow will officiate with interment to follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Galloway died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Regent Care Center in Kingwood.
She was born Aug. 22, 1920 in Cash, Texas. She married John Edwin Galloway on Dec. 31, 1939, in Loving, N.M. Dorothy lived in Sweetwater until 1954 before moving to Neadarland, Lufkin and finally Kingwood. She was a homemaker and was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Doug Galloway and wife Marjorie of Kingwood; daughter, Darla Jean Warden of Lufkin; three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John on Aug. 25, 1982; an infant daughter, Connie Francis Galloway; her parents, Reeves and Beulah Galloway; three brothers; and three sisters.
