Sheriff David Warren of Nolan County announced that Doyle Lee Parsons was found at 12:35 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011, alive face down in a creek bed.
Parsons was approximately two-and-a-half miles away from the ranch house where had gone missing six days ago.
Many different search and rescue units and volunteer groups had been searching for Parsons from the first day he went missing.
Parsons was found by a Blackwell volunteer search member named Jim Monroe.
Emergency Units as well as the Sweetwater Fire Department said he was somewhat responsive once evaluated.
Parsons was then air lifted to San Angelo for further medical attention.
