Many area residents showed their appreciation and support on Sunday, June 3, 2012, for Kenneth Dudensing, longtime Sweetwater FFA Agriculture Science teacher.
After almost four decades with Sweetwater Independent School District — 39 years — Dudensing is retiring. He has taught everything from welding in shop class, to hunter safety in wildlife management class, to animal protein requirements in advanced animal science class. He has even been a math tutor for students that have struggled with their math TAKS tests.
Shown are Dudensing and his family, son-in-law Mac, grandson Hank and daughter Jamie Redmon, Dudensing and his wife, Rebecca, daughter-in-law Rebekka, grandson Barrett and son Jeff Dudensing.
He was also honored with a plaque at retirement reception. The plaque was presented to him by Dennie Cumbie and Doug Richards from the Class of 1978.
