Dunn case still a criminal investigation

It has been 15 days since the disappearance of Colorado City girl Hailey Darlene Dunn.On Dec. 28, 2010 at approximately 2 p.m., 13 year old Hailey Darlene Dunn was reported missing by her mother Billie Jean Dunn. According to this initial report, Hailey was last seen on Dec. 27, 2010 by her mother's boyfriend, Shawn Adkins. In an effort to clarify a statement made by investigators for portraying Hailey as a child that has runaway or is hiding, there is no evidence that supports this assertion. Law enforcement has treated the disappearance of Hailey Dunn as a criminal investigation and will continue to make every effort to follow all investigative leads. In addition, local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies continue to provide assistance in this investigation. Since the initiation of the missing persons investigation, a neighborhood canvas has been conducted, Hailey's friends have been interviewed, additional investigative leads were followed and additional resources were requested.  As of today’s date, law enforcement has no new investigative information to report. Hailey, a Colorado City Middle School student, was last seen at 1804 Chestnut Street in Colorado City between 1 and 3 p.m., wearing navy blue sweatpants, a short sleeved light colored T-shirt and pink and white tennis shoes. She has hazel eyes, pierced ears and brown hair with blondish streaks.
