Earnie Ray Marshall, 74, of Sweetwater, passed away Friday May 30, 2014, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
His wishes were to be cremated and no further services are planned. McCoy Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Earnie was born May 2, 1940 in Ranger, TX to Henry Allen and Edna Geneva (Preece) Marshall. Earnie has lived in Sweetwater since 1996 and Midland before that. Earnie was a member of the Coronado Masonic Lodge # 1406 in El Paso and he also had a love for old cars.
Earnie is survived by his wife, Shelby Marshall of Sweetwater; brothers, George “Bill” Marshall and wife Estelle of Midland, Odis Marshall and wife June of Kermit and Donald Marshall and wife Pat of Midland; sister, Betty Jo Crow of Pflugerville; step children, Rod Stone and Rhonda Poor; children, Earnie Olin, Steve “Doug” Paternoster, Tamyra Althof; grandchildren, Misty Marshall and husband Joel Gold of San Antonio, Justin Marshall of Moore, Okla.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, Henry Allen and Edna Geneva Marshall; sister, Clara Jean Pope; and son, Jay Marshall.
