Funeral services for Elba Jane Sanders, 76, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Eric Horton officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Sanders died Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. Jane was born to Henry and Vesta Bourland on Oct. 8, 1936, in Roscoe. She was a graduate of Roscoe High School and of Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. She was a member of Sweetwater Church of God and loved making crafts.
Survivors include her husband, J.W. Sanders of Sweetwater; son, Paul McIntosh and wife Lori of Sweetwater; step son, Aaron Sanders and wife Rosa of Sweetwater; daughters, Cynthia Rick of Big Spring and Robin Fisher of Ennis; step daughters, Shirley Martin and husband Jimmy of Wylie and Reda Martin and husband Billy of Abilene; sister, JoAnn Squires of Cleveland, Tennessee; niece, Anita Ray and husband Gary of Dallas; and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry L. and Vesta B. Bourland; and brother, Jimmy Bourland.
Pallbearers are Paul Kincaid, Roger Adams, Mike Kincaid, Shawn Kincaid, Cody Kincaid and Kenny Newton.
Honorary pallbearers are Aaron Sanders, Paul McIntosh, Ricky Painter and Chad Pierce.
