Funeral services for Eula Mae Corley, 99, of Sweetwater, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Jerry Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at the funeral home.
Corley died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, in Kansas City, Mo.
She was born Feb. 29, 1912, in Greenville, Texas. She married A.B. Corley on Dec. 21, 1935, in Snyder. She had lived in Sweetwater since 1947 and was a member of Lamar Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Clemons of Kansas City, Mo.; granddaughter, Tammy Theesfeld and husband David of Kansas City, Mo.; grandson, Tommy Clemons of Kansas City, Mo; six great-grandchildren, Megan, Leighanne, Nicholas, John Jesse and Dylan; and one great-great-grandchild, Jayce.
She was preceded in death by her husband A.B. Corley in 1995; a son-in-law, Sandy Clemons in 1997; and three sisters, Nannie Griffin, Odessa Morton and Alane Corley.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Clemons, Nick Clemons, John Clemons, Danny Alderson, Gary Morton and Dylan Theesfeld.
