Sweetwater quarterback Terry Clemmer (10, shown) and Roscoe signal caller Jacob Villanueva were two of the many former Nolan County high school football stars who participated in Saturday's games at Mustang Bowl that were sponsored by Texas Alumni Football. Clemmer, a 1994 SHS graduate, led Sweetwater in the evening alumni game against several former stars from Snyder, while Villanueva, who graduated from Roscoe just two years ago, quarterbacked the Plowboys in an afternoon game against Roby's alumni team. Unfortunately, neither of the Nolan County teams could pull out a win as Sweetwater lost to Snyder, 16-6, while Roscoe lost in its game to Roby, 15-6. Both games at the Bowl featured good crowds. Several awards were given to ex-stars, including the best linemen, offensive and defensive MVPs, oldest players and leadership awards.
