Felice Nesbitt Adams, 82 of Arlington, Texas passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 after a brief illness.
She was born in Big Springs, Texas on Aug. 24, 1930 to C.E. and Modena Nesbitt. Felice graduated from Colorado High School in Colorado City, Texas. She attended Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. It was there she met the love of her life and married W.C. "Dub" Adams on Jan. 23, 1950. They resided in Sweetwater, Texas until moving to Arlington, Texas in 1966. Felice was a long time member of Park Row Church of Christ. "Auntie", as she was known to her family, will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, gardening, bird watching and fishing.
She is survived by her husband W.C. "Dub" Adams; her cousin, Cindy O'Shea; her brothers and sisters-in-law Glen and Wanda Adams, Roland and Laveta Poe, Ira and Lauretta Adams; her nieces and nephews Deborah Poe, Gary Adams, Danny Poe, Larry Adams, Teresa Adams Agler, Felecia Adams Rankin, Blake Adams, Amy Adams, Ellison and Feliceâ€™s lifelong friend Clara Ann Bruce.
Pallbearers are Blake Adams, Bryce Adams, Roger Bruce, Wes Agler, Larry Adams and James Wagoner.
The family will be accepting guests at Moore Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in Felice's honor in the Chapel at Moore Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 16, at 12:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Moore Memorial Gardens.
