Fire north of Jack Lambert Apartments

The Sweetwater Fire Department, Sweetwater Police Department and Nolan County Sheriff’s Office all responded to a grass fire that started just before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
The fire was directly north of the Jack Lambert Apartments, burning between Neff St. and Newman St.
According to Fire Chief Grant Madden, the cause of the fire is still unknown. The Fire Department will continue its investigation.
