The City of Roscoe will be having two events downtown on Saturday, April 21.
The 1st Annual Screw Terlinquin Chili Cook-off will take place at The Lumberyard. All proceeds will go toward the Open Door Child Development at the First United Methodist Church in Roscoe, a non-profit organization.
Later in the day, a free concert and street dance will take place in Downtown Roscoe. Entertainment will be provided by Eleven Hundred Springs, and a fireworks show will follow.
"Come out to Roscoe for family fun and a great hometown cookoff and street dance," said event coordinators. "We look forward to seeing you on 'the bricks' in Roscoe."
