Technically, the Autumn equinox didn’t officially start until about 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, but the temperature said otherwise that morning. Inez Walker of Sweetwater called that morning to let us know she had a beautiful bunch of flowers we just had to come and look at. She got the seeds from her church and decided to plant them in the backyard. Inez calls them Moon Flowers, because they start blooming late at night. A friend of hers calls them Angel Trumpets, and you can certainly see the resemblance. Whatever they’re called, they smell wonderful and they look lovely. Thank you, Inez, for sharing these lovely flowers with everyone.
