Taylor Jones: Sweetwater Player of the Week

Taylor Jones has been chosen Football Player of the Week for Sweetwater. Jones, a third-year senior starter at quarterback, completed 15 of 22 passes for 149 yards and one touchdown, and was also the Mustangs’ top rusher with 87 yards on 25 carries against Wylie this past Friday in Sweetwater’s district opener. He has accounted for over 1,200 yards passing and running this season. In addition, Jones played at free safety against Wylie and assisted on two tackles.
