Graveside services for Frankie Eugene Barton, Jr., 51, of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, at Sweetwater Cemetery. Rev. Mike Sells will officiate with interment to follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Barton died Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 4, 1961 in Brownfield, Texas. Frankie was a member of Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Barton of Sweetwater; brothers, Timothy Wade Barton and wife Janie of Sweetwater, Jonathan A. Barton of Sweetwater and Ricky Lee Barton of Sweetwater; sister, Christina Barton of Sweetwater; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Barton in 2004; and a brother, Jimmy Wayne Barton in 1967.
