Free cholesterol screenings at local health department

September 18, 2013

September is National Cholesterol Education Month. To observe this, a free cholesterol screening sponsored by Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital will be held on Thursday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Sweetwater-Nolan County Health Department, located at 301 E. 12th in Sweetwater.
Cholesterol can play a critical role in a person's health. It's important that all people know what their cholesterol level is and how it affects their risk of developing heart disease. People also need to learn about all risk factors for heart disease.
The Sweetwater-Nolan County Health Department does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability or age in admission, treatment, or participation in its programs, services and activities, or in employment.
