Freshmen finish by beating Wylie

The Sweetwater freshman football team ended its season by beating Wylie 16-6 here on Thursday.
Sweetwater trailed Wylie 6-0 before scoring on the last 16 points.
D’Jaman West scored on a 15-yard run to tie the game and Adrian Vizzerra caught a two-point pass to give Sweetwater the lead. A 50-yard fumble return by Max Nemir for a touchdown extended the lead to 14-6, and Vizzerra ran over the two-point PAT to complete Sweetwater’s comeback.
Sweetwater had several standouts on both sides of the ball against Wylie.
The other offensive standouts besides West and Vizzerra were Max Gomez, Austin Kamer, Branson Guelker, Dylan Jimenez, Mark Lawrence, Israel Vera, Corey Mendez and Colby Greenwood, while the defensive standouts for Sweetwater in addition to Nemir were Daniel Maldonado, Vizzer-ra, Mendez, Corbin Brad-ley, Denzell Moore, C.J. Adames, J’Corey Amos and Isaiah Gonzales
