Goodfellows seeking help with party

November 7, 2013

The Sweetwater Goodfellows are currently seeking businesses, organizations or individuals interested in setting up a table at the annual Goodfellows Christmas party with Santa.
A total of 10 tables will be set up at the hour-long event and those in charge of the table are asked to bring something for the children to enjoy. "In the past we have had a table with balloons, one with snacks. It does not have to be anything big, just something to give to the children attending the party," says Goodfellows President Billy Johnston. "Some ideas may include coloring books or Santa hats."
Approximately 250 children are expected to attend the party that will take place from 3:45-4:45 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Lamar Street Baptist Church recreation building.
For more information or to participate in the event, contact Aubrey Turnbow at 325-660-5307.
