Goodwill-West Texas board of directors announces its board leadership for 2011: Hester Woods, Board Chair; Wesley Smith, Vice Chair; Dennis Gloyna, Treasurer; Myra Dean, Secretary; and Billie Berry, Past Chair
Board members include: Charles Black, Debbie Glandon, Gary Glenn, Sandra Gowens, Laura Madison, Peggy Manning, Leigh Ann Moore, Kevin New, Mindy Patterson.
Goodwill-West Texas is a non-profit agency covering 35 counties and over 35,000 square miles. Goodwill-West Texas employs more than 160 employees in the areas of production, janitorial, grounds keeping and retail sales. Goodwill retail stores are located in Abilene, Clyde, Sweetwater, Brownwood, San Angelo, Eastland, Midland and Odessa.
The mission of Goodwill is “Providing opportunities for people with barriers to employment” and employs those who otherwise might not find employment in the community. Goodwill also provides training in searching and/or interviewing for a job, resume writing and maintaining employment.
